star* scheme has a proven track record of making a difference to the lives of young people, and our current focus is on expanding the scheme across the country, so that every village, town and county that has a rugby club, has the star* scheme.

To do this though, we need people, time and funds, and anyone can help, from local individuals to multinational corporations through donations, sponsorship or by offering much needed time and skills.

Give money

The objective of the star* Scheme is, through the sport of rugby, to make a material difference in the lives of young people, who experience or have experienced adversity in childhood, including mental health conditions, disabilities or are growing up in challenging households.

It will provide 100% funding for training and match kit; transport to and from training and matches and support from a newly-employed qualified Regional Manager.

Give time or skills

Our scheme works through strong partnerships with the incredible network of grassroots rugby. To make the scheme work at a local club, it takes the commitment of volunteers and to become a volunteer for the star* scheme, all you need is enthusiasm and a desire to help.

You can provide time and energy to a local club from coaching to cooking, or perhaps you have a specfiic skill set such as accounting, marketing or media that could support the central team.

Sponsor/Partner

One of the most effective ways to help the legacy od star* is through sponsorship or long-term partnership.

Sponsoring could take the form of a Corporate Social Responsibility donation or a seed fund to help kick start a specific project for example. It might be to sponsor the project in local club, accelerating the success of the scheme.

Partnering with us could mean jointly applying for funds or joining forces to bolster current offers.
